RADIO MI AMIGO 192 - A NEW LINK FROM THIS SITE

THURSDAY THE 11TH JUNE

I don't know how many of you are aware of a station called Radio Mi Amigo 192. It is a radio station based on the original Flemish/Dutch offshore radio station of the same name that broadcast from the radio ship Mi Amigo during the 1970's - the main difference being that this new version seems to play mainly American and British records, rather than Dutch/Flemish. It also uses jingles/promotions sumilar to the original station.

More than that, though, quite a number of the presenters on this internet station are not only from that 1970's era but some worked on the original station, which broadcast between 1974 and 1978. These include:-

MAURICE BOKKEBROEK, PETER VAN DAM, FERRY EDEN, MARC JACOBS, AD ROBERTS and TON SCHIPPER.

In addition, KEES BORRELL and PETER DE VRIES were on the radio ship Mi Amigo in that 1970's period.
